• TYPE LOCALITY. "Wladiwostok und der Insel Ascold" [Vladivostok and Askold Island, S. Ussuri region].

• SYNONYMS: jankowskii Oberthur, 1880.

• RANGE. E. Asia from S. China to the Amur region and Japan.

• DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The S. Ussuri region, populated by the nominate subspecies.

•HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. Lowland deciduous and mixed forests. Flight period: July-August. Active in the morning and evening. Host plant: Kalopanax septemlobus (Fukuda et al., 1984).
